Med-Challenger FM Career
Comprehensive Review and Assessment for Practicing Family Physicians

Med-Challenger FM CareerTM is the gold standard review and reference resource for family physicians preparing for recertification, Maintenance of Certification (MC-FP), or any other test of competency, knowledge, or performance. The course combines programmed learning, high-quality imagery, and powerful pedagogic material to prepare the practicing physician for each and every performance hurdle in your demanding specialty. In fact, our review method is so effective we even offer a Boards-Pass Guarantee on these test requirements, including the FM certification and recertification exams.

In short, our continually peer-reviewed material delivers learning and preparation with no risk! Serving 25 FM residency programs, the Challenger family medicine library speaks for itself.

Med-Challenger FM Career is designed to meet three real and pressing requirements for practicing family physicians:
  • Topically organized with examination assessments for each individual topic-so you can actually SEE how you are going to do on the boards.
  • The most comprehensive image bank available for family medicine-over 3,400 radiographs, ECGs, and dermatological presentations, organized for easy review.
  • Complete coverage of the annual SAM learning requirements for Maintenance of Certification (MC-FP), including all the parts that are going to be covered on your examination.
Med-Challenger FM Career is a powerful package that prepares you for all your testing requirements.

One Stop Solution for Your Exam Preparation
The profession of family medicine is changing, and the organizations that establish and maintain certification requirements are making it ever tougher to stay in the game. That's right, the recertification exam is getting more demanding, what with all the new attention to evidence-based medicine (EBM). And then, the annual maintenance of certification (MC-FP) Self Assessment Module (SAM) requires you to devote precious hours of your time to ensure that you are up-to-date on the standard of care for all the major clinical categories in your practice environment. This annual challenge also requires you to register for and pass a demanding test on the SAM material.

The newest release of Med-Challenger FM Career goes far beyond simply being a worthwhile investment for the over 280 AMA Category 1 CME credits that come free with your purchase. It goes beyond the Boards-Pass Guarantee tied to your preparation for certification or recertification. Now, Med-Challenger FM Career also arms you for success on the annual maintenance of certification (MC-FP) exam.

You may have heard this test referred to as SAM--that is, the annual self-assessment modules (SAM) on which you must obtain a passing score of 90%. Our review course includes an entire section called Challenger MC-FP, covering the ABFM-designated topics for SAM. Topics currently included in Challenger MC-FP are hypertension, diabetes management, asthma, and coronary artery disease. Our Pass Guarantee is applicable to this certification as well.

  98% Success Rate
The way that the certification and recertification tests are graded
means that a surprisingly number of physicians fail each year.

Why? It isn't because physicians don't know their stuff; it's because the examination covers such a broad range of topics. The test can require knowledge of image interpretations, radiographs, ECGs, and more. It includes formulas you haven't had to look at since medical school, and also requires knowledge of relatively obscure areas where the standard of care is changing. On top of these factors, the busy practicing physicians now must become comfortable with the entirely new standards of EBM. Here's where Challenger can help you out!

Test-taking is a science of its own, but Challenger relies on a proven 100-year-old methodology known as programmed learning to bulletproof you on the required family medicine exams! The programmed learning method still yields the highest cognitive exam scores in comparison to more fashionable (but less reliable) techniques. Challenger ignores fads and fashions so that we can GUARANTEE your success. Call 1-800-745-4557 and order today! Don't be one of the "surprised" physicians on test day when you discover that the exam materials leave you in the dark.
